Decorative wood

XILO L isa Electric Designer Radiator made from a single monolithic panel of sturdy, fragrant Cedar which hides the HOM technology. Available in 2 different powers, and double the size of the XILO 500. Unique in the colour and geometry of the wood, it heats by radiation and convective motion, releasing a pleasant fragrance.

Electric Designer Radiator Xilo L – Cedar Wood Towel Warmer

Xilo L is the electric designer radiator that combines radiant ceramic heat with the natural beauty of cedar wood. Designed by HOM, this electric towel radiator is not just a heater: it scents your bathroom and keeps towels warm and dry, all year round.

Available in two power ratings – 700 W and 1000 W – with dimensions double those of the Xilo 500, Xilo L is designed for medium and large bathrooms. HOM technology heats by radiation and convection, releasing a pleasant cedar fragrance: a detail no traditional radiator can match.

Why choose a low consumption electric designer radiator?

Unlike water-based towel warmers, a low consumption electric radiator such as Xilo L runs independently from the central heating system. You can pair it with an external thermostat (see accessories) and switch it on only when needed, cutting waste. The ceramic core and solid wood body deliver gentle, constant warmth – ideal for mid-season too.

Xilo L: the electric designer radiator in cedar wood

Cedar wood is more than an aesthetic choice: it naturally scents the room, and when combined with the ceramic heating body it makes Xilo L a one-of-a-kind object among electric designer radiators. Every piece has unique grain and geometry, handcrafted from solid wood. The natural wax finish protects the surface without masking the cedar fragrance.

The electric designer radiator Xilo L for medium and large bathrooms

With a height of 1470 mm and a 450 mm base, Xilo L uses its vertical footprint to save floor space while offering a generous heating surface. The 700 W version suits bathrooms up to ~7–8 m²; the 1000 W model comfortably handles rooms up to 10–12 m², depending on insulation.

How to install the electric designer radiator Xilo L

Two versions available: with cable and plug (the easiest – just plug it in) or with direct wall connection for a fixed, tidy installation. In both cases the optional brushed steel towel holder turns Xilo L into a practical bathroom towel warmer.

FAQ – Electric designer radiator Xilo L

How much does the Xilo L electric designer radiator consume?

The 700 W model uses 0.7 kWh per hour of continuous operation, while the 1000 W model uses 1 kWh/h. With an external thermostat cycling on and off, actual consumption is significantly lower – typically about one third of nominal power.

Does Xilo L require any plumbing?

No. Xilo L is fully electric and needs no water connection. It comes with either a plug-and-cable version or a direct wall connection, so installation is quick and requires no masonry work.

Is cedar wood suitable for a humid bathroom?

Yes. Cedar is naturally resistant to moisture. The natural wax finish creates a protective barrier that preserves the wood over time while keeping the cedar fragrance intact.

Standards and safety

Xilo L complies with EN 60335-1 and EN 60335-2-30 standards, with IP 24 protection rating (suitable for bathroom installation) and CE marking. Insulation class: CL. I and CL. II depending on version.
